6S battery charging workshop [MZAK1]
Overview of the mobile workshop for charging 6S batteries
The 6S battery charging workshop (MZAK1) is a specialized mobile complex designed for charging and preparing lithium-polymer batteries (LiPo/LiHV) for storage in field conditions. Its design ensures autonomy, safety, and a fully equipped workspace for servicing batteries used in unmanned aerial vehicles and other equipment.

In the charging area of the battery charging workshop, four built-in cabinets equipped with chargers are installed. These cabinets provide simultaneous charging of up to 84 batteries. This solution allows efficient organization of the charging process and optimizes the use of the workshop space.
A fully equipped workstation for the UAV maintenance specialist is fitted with the necessary mechanical and measuring tools. At this workstation, drones are inspected, cleaned, and repaired, ensuring their reliable and uninterrupted operation.

The workshop’s isolated power compartment is designed to ensure safe and uninterrupted operation of the equipment. The compartment houses a generator that supplies electricity to the workshop, as well as a reserve of diesel fuel to support its autonomous operation for an extended period.
A total of 42 devices with built-in power supplies are installed, each capable of charging/discharging and switching two high-capacity batteries into storage mode simultaneously. The presence of two independent screens and separate controls for each channel provides maximum convenience for monitoring the process.

Supports servicing of lithium-polymer (LiPo) and lithium high-voltage (LiHV) batteries. LiPo batteries are widely used in UAVs, while LiHV batteries are commonly used in professional drones and high-performance electronic devices due to their higher voltage and capacity.

Supports servicing of LiPo batteries with different cell counts: 2S, 3S, 4S, 5S, and 6S, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of drones, quadcopters, and various classes of aircraft models.

The workshop’s electrical equipment is powered by a diesel generator with a capacity of up to 50 kW, installed in a separate soundproof enclosure. There is also provision for connecting the workshop to an external 380 V power grid.

A custom-designed switchboard rated for high loads and adapted to support the simultaneous operation of all electrical equipment in the workshop. It has an IP66 protection rating, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress for reliable operation.

The workshop is equipped with fuel tanks with a total capacity of 240 L, placed in special mounts for 20-liter jerry cans, ensuring safe and convenient storage and transportation of diesel fuel.

Thanks to air conditioning and exhaust ventilation in the charging compartment, the required temperature range (+5 °C to +25 °C) is maintained while charging 84 LiPo batteries, ensuring both safe operation and comfortable working conditions for the personnel.
